Opito Digital Basic Offshore Survival Induction Emergency Training (DBOSIET with EBS)
The OPITO BOSIET with EBS can also be followed through e-learning. With the OPITO E-BOSIET you train for only 1 day at our training center in opposition to 3 days. All theory you learn at home through E-learning during an average 8-16 hour program.
The theoretical aspects of the BOSIET with EBS has undergone a digital conversion, and is now available as an online alternative .Once on-line modules have been successfully completed, practical training can be out carried in 1 day.

The syllabus focuses on:
- Basic safety induction
- Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS)
- Fire fighting and self rescue
- Helicopter safety and escape
- Sea survival
- Survival first aid
Delegates must be at least 16 years of age.
Upon booking delegates will be registered for the theoretical section of the course on the OPITO Learning Portal, this must be successfully completed prior to attending the practical training session.
All personnel employed on an offshore installation or seeking employment
An OPITO-approved Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with EBS certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.
