H2S Safety Induction


On completion of this 1 day course the candidate will be able to identify the properties and sources of H2S and Sulphur Dioxide as well as learn how to manage the risk of exposure; they will be able to operate a personal H2S monitor in accordance with the procedures; they will be able to inspect, store, don, and use the breathing apparatus supplied for training purposes, in accordance with the procedures; They will be able to identify their emergency procedures according to a management plan during an H2S emergency.

This course is based on the OPITO (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization) standards.

Each certificate carries an expiry date, requiring the holder to undertake ‘Further Training’ in line with International Guidelines
